How to change the background.

If you don't have a powerful graphics program like Photoshop or Corel, get Gimp. Gimp is completely free.

1. Open the picture.

   
   

2. Use the Path Tool to outline the subject you want to preserve.
3. On the menu, click on Select-From Path.
4. On the menu again, click on Select-Invert.

   
   

5. Use the Erase Tool to delete the background.
6. Open the new background picture.
7. Select all the new background.

   
   

8. Paste Into the blank background of the first picture.
9. Use the Move Tool to position the background correctly.
10. Use the Heal Tool to blend the edges of the subject to the background a bit.
